Sola wood flowers are an organic and sustainable alternative to cut flowers. Made from the renewable wood of a marshy plant (not tapioca or cassava as commonly misunderstood), sola wood flowers look like real flowers and last a lifetime.
In the raw form the flowers are a whitish-cream color. The flower may have a skin (aka bark) left on the end that is left on the Sola Wood when the flower is produced. This is completely natural.
Each sola flower is created by hand and no machines are used. Flowers are composed of petals that are hand-cut from the delicate sola wooden sheets and then arranged.
Flowers should be kept in a cool, dry place indoors. Flowers should never be placed outside in the elements.
If needed, use the cool setting on a hair dryer on the low setting. It's easy and works like a charm.
